1. Who we are

The TrustTLD marketplace is operated by TrustTLD ("we", "us"). Questions about anything in this document go to team@trustTLD.com.

Using TrustTLD means you accept these terms. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you are accepting them for that company. You must be at least 18.

2. What TrustTLD is — and what it isn't

TrustTLD is a venue. Domain owners list names, buyers make offers, and the two sides talk directly.

We are not a party to any sale. We are not a broker, an escrow agent, or a registrar. We do not take custody of a domain, we do not hold or move funds for a sale, and we do not take a commission on one. We do not guarantee that a listed domain will be transferred, that an offer will be accepted, or that either side will do what they said they would.

Everything we charge for is visibility on TrustTLD — see section 7. Nothing we charge for is the sale itself.

3. Accounts

You need an account to list a domain, respond to an offer, or keep a watchlist. You can submit an offer without one, but it only reaches the seller once you sign in as the address you gave — that sign-in is what proves the offer is really from you.

Sign-in is passwordless: a one-time code sent to your email, or Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping the address on it current, because that is how offers reach you.

You can deactivate your account from your dashboard at any time. Deactivating hides your listings and disables sign-in immediately, and 30 days later your account data is permanently deleted. Within those 30 days you can write to team@trustTLD.com to reactivate; after that there is nothing left to restore.

4. Listing a domain

Proving it's yours. Before a listing can be submitted you must prove you control the domain — either from an email address on that domain, or by publishing a DNS TXT record we give you. We check again every time you edit a listing.

Review. Every submission waits in a review queue before it goes live. We may reject a listing, ask you to change it, or remove it later. Verification is a technical check and review is a human pass on top of it; neither is a promise to a buyer that a name is free of problems.

What you are confirming. By listing, you confirm that:

• you have the right to sell the domain, and it is not subject to a dispute, lien, or transfer lock you have not disclosed;
• what you write about it is accurate — including any claim about traffic, revenue, or history;
• the name does not infringe anyone's trademark and was not registered to trade on it.

Editing. You can edit a live listing yourself. The change appears immediately and is reviewed afterwards, and we may revert it to what it said before.

Your content. Your listings, seller notes, logos, and anything else you upload stay yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that material so we can run and promote the marketplace — including in search results, social previews, and our own pages and emails. The licence ends when you remove the material, except for copies already sitting in backups or in search indexes we do not control.

5. Offers

An offer is an expression of interest. It is not a binding contract, and nothing on the platform makes it one.

An offer goes to the seller, who can accept, decline, or counter. A counter goes back to the buyer, and so on. Accepting reveals each side's email address to the other, and the deal closes privately from there — the transfer, the payment, and any escrow you choose to use are yours to arrange and yours to honour. We are not part of that and cannot enforce it.

Do not use the offer form to advertise, or to contact a seller about anything other than the domain in front of you. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Signals, the TRUST Score, and generated text

Listings show data gathered from public sources — registration records, archive history, DNS, and traffic and search signals — combined into a TRUST Score. Some listings also carry short "Good for" suggestions, and seller notes drafted with the help of an AI model.

All of it is indicative. Source data can be wrong, stale, or missing. A score is a summary of that data, not an appraisal or a valuation. Generated text can be confidently wrong, and a seller is responsible for their own listing text whether they wrote it or accepted a draft.

None of it is advice, and none of it replaces your own diligence before you spend money on a domain.

7. Paid plans, placement, and advertising

Listing plans. A listing offered for sale needs a paid visibility plan. A showcase listing — one that is not for sale — does not. What each plan costs, and what it grants, is shown to you before you buy it.

Placement. Featured position, the ticker, pinning within a category, and recommendation on other listings each run for a fixed number of days from purchase and then simply expire. Buying more time while time is still running adds to it rather than replacing it.

Followable links. Every listing links out to its domain. That link is marked "nofollow ugc" unless a package that makes it followable is bought, and it is disclosed as paid either way. Paying does not create a link — it changes an existing, disclosed one.

Advertising. Advertising slots are sold separately, are marked as promoted wherever they appear, and are subject to our approval before they run. We do not endorse advertisers and we do not vet what they sell.

Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. A one-time purchase is charged once. A monthly plan is a subscription that renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel it, which you can do from your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal — the placement you have already paid for runs to the end of its period. Prices exclude tax unless we say otherwise.

Refunds. Purchases are non-refundable. That includes deleting a listing, deactivating an account, or having a listing removed for breaching these terms while a placement is still running. If we take something down for a reason that is ours rather than yours, write to team@trustTLD.com and we will put it right.

8. Acceptable use

See the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: nothing you cannot lawfully sell, nothing infringing or impersonating, no scraping or automated collection, and no attempts to break the platform or interfere with anyone else's use of it.

9. Suspension and removal

We may remove a listing, suspend an account, or stop providing the service to someone who breaches these terms, whose listing turns out not to be theirs, or whose use exposes us or other users to legal risk. Where we can give notice first, we will.

You can stop using TrustTLD whenever you like — see section 3 on deactivation.

10. Claims about a domain

If someone tells us a listed domain infringes their rights, we may take the listing down while it is sorted out.

We are not the right forum for deciding who owns a name. Trademark disputes and UDRP proceedings belong with the registrar, the dispute provider, or a court. Removing a listing is not a finding about who owns it, and leaving one up is not an endorsement of it.

11. Liability

TrustTLD is provided as-is and as-available. To the extent the law allows, TrustTLD is not liable for losses arising from a transaction between users, from reliance on the signals, scores, or generated text we display, from a domain turning out not to be what its listing said it was, or from the service being unavailable, delayed, or interrupted.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

If a claim is brought against us because of something you listed, wrote, uploaded, or did on TrustTLD, you will cover the reasonable cost of dealing with it.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is when they last changed, and continuing to use TrustTLD after a change means you accept the updated version. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan already running gives you, we will email the people it affects.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of United States, and any dispute goes to the courts there.
