Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The TrustTLD marketplace is operated by TrustTLD. Reaching us about anything in this document: team@trustTLD.com.

2. What TrustTLD is

TrustTLD is a venue where domain owners list names for sale and buyers make offers on them. We are not a party to any sale. We do not take custody of a domain, we do not hold funds, and we do not guarantee that a listed domain will be transferred or that an offer will be accepted.

3. Accounts

You need an account to list a domain, make an offer, or track a watchlist. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping the email address on it current, since that is how offers reach you.

4. Listing a domain

Before a listing goes live, you must prove you control the domain — either through an email address on that domain or a DNS record we ask you to publish. By listing, you confirm that:

• you have the right to sell the domain;
• the name is not subject to a dispute, lien, or transfer lock you have not disclosed;
• the description you write about it is accurate.

We may remove a listing that we believe breaches these terms.

5. Offers

An offer submitted through TrustTLD is an expression of interest, not a binding contract. Buyers and sellers negotiate directly. Whatever you agree between yourselves is yours to honour, not ours to enforce.

6. Signals and the TRUST Score

Every listing shows data gathered from public sources — registration records, archive history, DNS, and traffic signals — combined into a TRUST Score. These are indicators, not appraisals or guarantees. Source data can be wrong, stale, or missing. Do your own diligence before you buy a domain.

7. Advertising

Paid placements are marked as promoted wherever they appear. We do not endorse advertisers and we do not vet what they sell.

8. Acceptable use

See our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no illegal listings, no infringing names, no scraping, no attempts to break the platform.

9. Liability

TrustTLD is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, TrustTLD is not liable for losses arising from a transaction between users, from reliance on the signals we display, or from the service being unavailable.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is when they last changed. Continuing to use TrustTLD after a change means you accept the updated version.
